Elon Musk drew attention on social media with posts connected to the "No Kings" protests.

Demonstrators crowded into streets, parks, and plazas across the U.S. during the weekend to protest President Donald Trump, mixing anti-authoritarian messages with support for immigrants and calls to protect democracy.

Musk, who recently left his position as head of Trump's Department of Government Efficiency, took to X on Monday, shortly after midnight.

"Anyone else think of this yesterday?" the Tesla and SpaceX CEO posted with a banner saying "No Gods or Kings. Only Man" from the video game BioShock.

The quote is associated with Andrew Ryan, one of the game's antagonists and the capitalist founder of the underwater city of Rapture, where the game takes place, Newsweek reported.

Late Monday morning, Musk added to the post, writing, "Great game" before adding a laughing with tears emoji.

Soon after his initial post, Musk again wrote, "No gods or kings, only men" with video showing the tower catch of a SpaceX Starlink rocket booster.

It was unclear whether Musk's posts were intended to criticize or support the "No Kings" protesters.

Musk recently took to X to engage in a feud with Trump, whose "one, big, beautiful bill" that passed the House did not include enough DOGE cuts for Musk's liking.

Among Musk's comments were, "Without me, Trump would have lost the election" and alleging the Department of Justice has not released the Jeffrey Epstein files because Trump is named in them.

Musk later stepped back from his explosive feud with Trump, writing on X that he regretted some of the posts about his onetime ally and that they went "too far."

Late last week, Trump referred to Musk as "a friend of mine" and "first buddy" but said the tech magnate became "strange" after leaving the administration.
