President Donald Trump, ahead of an expected weekend meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, told Politico that the Ukrainian president "doesn't have anything until I approve it."
"He doesn't have anything until I approve it," Trump was quoted as saying in an interview published Friday. "So we'll see what he's got." The Republican president believed he could have a productive meeting.
Zelenskyy will discuss territorial issues, the main stumbling block in talks to end Russia's war in Ukraine, with Trump in Florida on Sunday.
