A video depiction of President Donald Trump sucking the foot of billionaire Elon Musk greeted employees arriving at the Department of Housing and Urban Development headquarters building in Washington, D.C., on Monday.
The clip also showed the text "Long Live the King." That may relate to a line the president posted on his Truth Social account last week.
The video is likely an artificial intelligence creation, and no one has stepped up claiming responsibility for the hack of the HUD monitor system.
HUD spokeswoman Kasey Lovett said in response, “Another waste of taxpayer dollars and resources. Appropriate action will be taken for all involved,” reported The Hill.
It's not immediately clear how long the fake video was shown on monitors at the HUD building. Mediaite reports the video, or one similar, surfaced several weeks ago on a social media platform.
Musk owns the social media platform X and is the president's choice to lead his administration strategy to eliminate wasteful government spending. Trump opponents have claimed Musk has no authority to embark on the sweeping audit and overhaul of government spending, as Newsmax has reported.
