Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler said Saturday that President Donald Trump’s newly signed "One Big, Beautiful Bill" is helping restore economic opportunity for America’s small businesses while marking the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Appearing on Newsmax’s "Wake Up America Weekend," Loeffler called Independence Day "an incredible moment to not only celebrate the past 250 years, but celebrate the next 250 that President Trump is ushering in with his landmark legislation."

Loeffler said the bill’s "working family tax cuts" show that Trump "is fighting for hardworking Americans," adding that, "small businesses have really built this country."

Highlighting the legislation’s impact, Loeffler said America’s "36 million small businesses create two out of every three new jobs" and criticized Democrat opposition to the measure.

"Every single Democrat voted against what became a $4 trillion tax cut for the American people," she said, arguing the law provides "tax relief, regulatory relief, and ... fair trade."

"We are a nation of builders because now we have tax relief, regulatory relief, and we have fair trade," Loeffler said. "Small businesses are building again."

She added that workers are already benefiting from provisions eliminating taxes on overtime pay.

"I’m walking factory floors with small manufacturers where workers are taking on more shifts because they know it’s not going to get taxed away," Loeffler said.

She added the policy "is going to help us reshore industry to create jobs in areas that were hollowed out over the last several decades."

Loeffler also said the administration has already seen "600,000 jobs created in the last four months alone."

Describing the importance of entrepreneurs, Loeffler echoed Trump’s frequent refrain that "small business is, as President Trump says, big business," noting that small businesses account for "99% of all of our businesses across America."

"They are the doers, the builders, the innovators," she said, pointing to visits with a Virginia flag manufacturer, local restaurants, and NASA suppliers.

"This is what small business means to America. It’s ingenuity. It’s ensuring that we have great-paying jobs and leading the world in innovation."
