US Judge Strikes Down Trump Immigration Restrictions on 39 Countries

A federal judge on Friday struck down policies President Donald Trump's ‌administration ​adopted that have barred people from ⁠countries on his ​travel ban list from getting ⁠final decisions on their asylum, work ‌permit, green card, ​and citizenship ‌applications.

U.S. District Judge ‌John McConnell in Providence, Rhode Island, ruled that ⁠the ‌U.S. Citizenship ⁠and Immigration Services had ⁠adopted ⁠a series of ‌unlawful policies targeting people from 39 African, Asian, ‌Latin ​American ‌and Middle Eastern countries.
