I miss Oregon already. Technically, I'm still here, having lodged in the eastern part of the state for the night. But the best sights (as well as the Pacific Ocean) are far behind me, and our ambitious schedule keeps pushing us forward. Allow me to mourn by reminiscing.

We woke up in the mountain foothills of Sandy, just outside Portland (we skipped that city for our mental health). It's a pretty sweet life when this is the view from your back deck.
