'Trans' Athlete Tells Women's Sports Defenders To 'Get A Life'

As an avid sports fan, I’ve witnessed some pretty arrogant behavior form players and coaches. But its been a while since I’ve seen an athlete act this proud, brash - and, frankly, disgusting.
"Verónica" Garcia won the girls' 2A 400-dash in Washington State on Saturday with a time of 55.70 seconds. But the problem is, Garcia is a boy, not a girl, and this is the second year in a row he has "won" the event.
While Garcia believes he is a boy, most everyone else who has seen these events unfold know the truth: he is not. So when Garcia took the podium on Saturday, he was greeted with a chorus of boos after being announced as the winner. Meanwhile, the second place finisher (and true winner), Lauren Matthew, was cheered raucously.
Look at the girls on the podium when the rightful champ, Lauren Matthew, is announced vs when the boy who stole her state title is announced.
She is applauded. He is booed.

The boos were highly justified, given that Garcia has dominated not one, but two titles in this event, and Washington State has done nothing to address the blatant unfairness. However, Garcia thinks the people who booed him are the ones with a problem.
“I’ll be honest, I kind of expect it,” Garcia said. “But it maybe didn’t have their intended effect. It made me angry, but not angry as in, I wanted to give up, but angry as in, I’m going to push.
“I’m going to put this in the most PG-13 way, I’m just going to say it’s a damn shame they don’t have anything else better to do. I hope they get a life. But oh well. It just shows who they are as people,” he concluded.
Excuse me?!

The fans who booed him - many of whom were likely parents of the girls he unfairly trounced - are the ones who are seeing this situation for what it is: a travesty. They don’t want to see a dude beating out girls in girls' sports, because that’s simply wrong.
Garcia is the one who should be assessing his actions instead of mouthing off to the fans.
Then again, given how hard he doesn't have to work to lead the field in girls' track, he’s got nothing better to do than pretend to be a girl and run in their meets while lecturing people who actually have some common sense.
