Xabi Alonso speaks for the first time as Chelsea manager
The Fight Club actor shares six children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie - including Zahara, Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. In the years following their split, many of their brood have dropped his last name, instead going by “Jolie”.
Zahara, 21, has submitted paperwork requesting an official name change - weeks after older brother Maddox did the same. The pair have now published notices sharing their separate petitions for their names to be changed in a local newspaper, as per California law, which states that notices have to run in four issues.
USA Today reports that Zahara's petition was printed in the Los Angeles Daily Journal in issues between June 16 and July 7. A judge can officially approve the request at her upcoming hearing on September 28, if there are no objections.
Before the official petition, she had dropped Pitt in favour of Jolie, and was referred to as Zahara Marley Jolie at her university commencement at Spelman College in May.

Brad and Angelina first started dating after meeting on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004 - they went public shortly after his separation from ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
The pair walked down the aisle in 2014 two years after getting engaged, but it wasn’t to last and they announced their split in 2016. They were legally declared single in 2019.
While the Ocean’s Eleven star has publicly moved on with his new girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, Angelina has remained single, and focusing on her family.
"To be candid, I haven't dated since I divorced a decade ago. So I get in my head that that aspect of me is not centred in my life if I'm focusing on my children, my family,” she recently told Yahoo Entertainment of her dating life.
However, she added that, while she felt “broken” by life, she is now learning to “live again” after her 51st birthday.
"Things are changing, but in a way I didn't expect. It doesn't feel like I'm 51 and starting to think of being older. I'm thinking I have to live again. Be free again," she concluded. "In a way that maybe life has broken me a little bit."
