Now that Charlie Kirk has been laid to rest, it's back to work for Turning Point USA. Their first event was at the University of Minnesota, starring Michael Knowles. Yes, in Minneapolis. Yes, in Ilhan Omar's district, in Tampon Tim Walz's state. It appears they beat out Berkley, CA, and Park Slope, NY to host the first TPUSA return event.

As we've come to expect whenever someone right-of-center stands on stage at a college campus and answers questions from students, the entire idea is threatening and makes people feel unsafe. Although I must admit, for the first TPUSA event back, I was expecting a little more energy from the haters.

Maybe they sent the A-team to the local ABC affiliate to protest Jimmy Kimmel's extended weekend off. Leaving only the B-team to protest Knowles.

Regardless, the frat bros were activated.

Quick side note. During the first Trump administration, we used to tell liberals to read another book when they would all identify as Hogwarts sects to describe how they were "resisting" Trump. Then Harry Potter author JK Rowling became persona non grata on the left when she decided to join the right side of history on trans issues. The left was forced to read a second book.

They may need to find a third, because this is getting lazy:

Inside, everything went off as expected. It's hard for some people to let go of their BlueAnon conspiracy theories, no matter how many facts and statistics you present them with. Knowles led a valiant effort.

At the end of the day, it's just nice to get back to normal. Or, normal-ish. Charlie Kirk's assassination was a paradigm shift. But to the extent we can get back to whatever normal was, seeing triggered liberals upset that there is someone they disagree with saying words on their college campus and having them get drowned out by "USA!" chants is a good start.
