According to the Los Angeles Times, “Federal immigration agents detained a man in Cypress Park on Tuesday whose toddler was strapped into the back seat of his vehicle, according to video shared with The Times. After two agents climbed into his car — along with their weapons — they drove off with the child as onlookers protested.”

They also would like you to know that this man is a U.S. citizen.

What’s bizarre about this reporting, though, is that the headline states “Armed agents drive off with child after detaining her father.”

This would make any old Joe believe that ICE is going after American citizens and couldn't care less if they put your baby in jeopardy. But that could not be further from the truth. And if I did not know any better, I might say the intent was to mislead you, but I do know better, so I will not be saying that. Nonetheless, the damage has been done, and for that, they deserve to be mocked into oblivion.

It’s not until the 3rd paragraph that they admit “A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson told The Times on Tuesday night that the man allegedly exited his vehicle, wielding a hammer and threw rocks at law enforcement while he had a child in his car.” But why, why was this not included in the lead or the headline? Many people don't read beyond the headlines, so one would assume the worst. It also does not help that writers mentioned this occurred at a Home Depot, a known hot spot for illegals, before they mention this person was allegedly committing a violent crime against officers. But you do the math.

The fact that this is the type of people the left will defend to prove their point, which is incredibly lacking, tells you all you need to know about their motives. But what else is new?
