Darializa Avila Chevalier is the new poster child for low-information left-wing urbanites. As a result, she just won a NYC congressional primary, which is essentially a lifetime appointment to Congress. She wants no prisons, no borders, celebrated with the rest of the Democrat Party (except for John Fetterman) on October 8th, and also wants to destroy Western civilization. Or, those were all things she thought before running for office. You know the schtick by now.
On a recent kibitz with Joy Reid, she tossed a word salad about how we aren't taking enough money away from taxpayers to give to left-wing pet projects.
What we need is a mentality of people over profit. You can’t tell me there is no money for schools, there’s no money to address childhood poverty, there’s no money to address this housing crisis, while voting time and time again to send billions to a war machine to a country that’s currently enacting a genocide.
Two things. The first is, please, no one tell the boss I'm giving Bill Maher credit for this...
The other is that we can't tell her that because all she said is bullsh*t. There's plenty of money to spend on poverty and housing, but instead of helping poverty and housing, the bulk of it goes to non-profits and NGOs so they can launder it back to the Democrat Party. The money given to the "war machine" (she means Israel) is pennies compared to what we spend on entitlement and government programs. Also, her bars about "genocide" are b-b-b-bullshit.
But let's focus on education, specifically in New York City, because that's where 7% of voters in the NY-13 just elected her to Congress.
Yep.
We think NYC councilwoman Vicki Paladino says it best. "The sad thing is there are plenty of people (let's face it, mostly women) who this will work perfectly on."
New York City is cooked. Everywhere outside of New York City (and a handful of other cities that have been under progressive control for decades) still has a chance if we look to the cities and who the cities elect, and do the exact opposite.
