Joe Biden appeared on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage on Monday. During that, he said a thing or two that should enrage the American people. One of those things was him bragging about his attempts to destroy the oil industry to make this country worse off.

According to Biden, he “made sure there could be no oil drilling off the East Coast, the West Coast and 150 miles off the Gulf of Mexico.” He then proceeded to gargle a bunch of words and then claimed: “no more wind mills because they kill birds.” And that bird comment might have been one of the smartest things he said since the left pretended he had a stutter.

President Joe Biden on Monday announced an executive action that will permanently ban future offshore oil and gas development in parts of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in a way that could be especially difficult for the incoming Trump administration to undo.

In other words, his last action in office was to ensure that the future of America’s energy supply was, at the very least, cut, despite having created record inflation during his term. There should have been more outrage over this.

Biden’s executive action will ban new oil and gas leasing across 625 million acres of US ocean. The ban will prevent oil companies from leasing waters for new drilling along the entire East Coast, the eastern Gulf of Mexico, the coasts of Washington, Oregon and California, and portions of Alaska’s Northern Bering Sea.

I am having trouble seeing how this was supposed to make the American people better off. And the fact that he continues to brag about it as if he did this country some massive favor is a slap in the face to voters

“My decision reflects what coastal communities, businesses, and beachgoers have known for a long time: that drilling off these coasts could cause irreversible damage to places we hold dear and is unnecessary to meet our nation’s energy needs,” Biden said in a statement. “It is not worth the risks.”

What is comical is that he claims this was intended to meet this country’s energy needs, but he effectively tried to decrease this country’s future energy supply. The math is not adding up, and this should have been a bigger scandal than it was.

Clearly, Biden is still a sleeping potato who could not care less about the damage he has caused to the people of this great nation. What a disgrace.
