While it is certainly true that some Haitian-born citizens have worked hard to achieve the American dream, it is also true that 52% of Haitian immigrants are on at least one major welfare program. This is hardly the flex that the left pretends it is, and they would do themselves a lot of favors if they stopped lying about it. The problem, however, is that leftists tend to be the most naive and arrogant individuals to have ever walked this earth. This is why AOC said what she felt needed to be said.

According to AOC, “It is horrifying” that the Supreme Court ruled that Trump has the authority to do what he was elected to do, which is take back our border and promote sensible national security policies. It just so happens that in that pursuit, a large number of Haitians on TPS may not have made the cut when it comes to Making America Great Again.

“We know for a fact that TPS is granted in some of the most extreme cases where people are under the most humanitarian threat,” AOC said, implying this is justification as to why certain groups should be afforded special privileges at the expense of Americans.

“Just to be approved for TPS is confirmation that it is too dangerous for you to go home. And to send so many people to extremely life-threatening conditions for no reason, because these folks are such gifts to American society,” adding that they are “vibrant” and contribute so much to America, making it a net loss for this great nation.

While we can appreciate that the left has finally admitted that Haiti is, in fact, a crappy country, I missed the part where this became the problem of the United States, so much so that it was the obligation of the American taxpayer to fund their welfare? The fact that foreign nationals are taking away benefits from AMERICANS is enough to end this “TPS” madness, but because of so-called "suicidal empathy,” here we are.

Additionally, she is acting as if we are automatically going to deport tens of thousands of Haitians tomorrow. That is not how these things work. Some will stay, and some will go. Just because someone is from Haiti, that does not grant them the right to be here. This is not rocket science. Why is the left so stupid?

That said, if something is truly a “gift,” it does not take convincing to gaslight people into believing that. Not only is the left naive, but people like AOC mock your intelligence by parroting nonsense like this. What a disgrace.
