Though he wasn't speaking to anyone and was not showing anger or aggression in any way, the woman, Kym, slowed down her car to verbally harass him, with her tirade later praised by abortion supporters.

The woman began by verbally attacking pro-lifers, saying:

I always feel like I’m at the zoo when I drive by Planned Parenthood, looking at the freaks, the predators, the human traffickers, the women harassers.

The pro-life man did not respond or react at all, but she continued:

Life does not begin at conception. The Bible actually talks about abortion being a means to an end when needed. You’re too dumb to know it. You’re also too dumb to know the homosexual wasn’t even in your Bible until the 40s, but you keep sitting out here in the rain and the cold. Okay? Looking like an idiot. Go ahead.

She then drove off, with the man doing nothing at any point to instigate her attack. Her video has racked up hundreds of thousands of views, and the comments are overwhelmingly positive.

Abortion is now a constitutional right in Michigan. The Grand Rapids Planned Parenthood commits telehealth abortions by pill through 11 weeks and 5 days (though it is unclear how staff verify gestational age), in-clinic abortions by pill through 12 weeks, and surgical abortions through 19 weeks and six days. At that late stage, the procedure used would be a D&E or dilation and evacuation procedure in which the abortionist tears the arms and legs off of the baby before crushing her skull.

Why it Matters:

Kym's arguments were not based in fact in any way, and ironically, many of them apply not to the pro-life movement, but to the abortion industry and its staff. And yet abortion activists are praising her verbal assault on the silent pro-lifer as if she somehow owned the man through her diatribe of insults and lies.

Predators and traffickers

Unlike the pro-life movement, the abortion industry has a long history of aiding and abetting sex traffickers, abusers, and predators. This has been exposed by multiple undercover investigations and in numerous tragic real-world examples of Planned Parenthood and other abortion industry staffers repeatedly looking the other way when abusers bring their victims in for abortions to cover up their crimes.

The same goes for human trafficking. Planned Parenthood has been caught encouraging traffickers to pose as guardians of their victims. Additionally, a report published by the Annals of Health Law in 2014 found that Planned Parenthood is well-known to traffickers and trafficking victims. It revealed that victims had “significant contact with clinical treatment facilities, most commonly Planned Parenthood.” Trafficking survivors also have testified to having multiple abortions, most frequently at the demand of their pimps, with one specifically saying Planned Parenthood was chosen because the staff there “didn’t ask any questions” (emphasis added):

I got pregnant six times and had six abortions during this time. Several of them were from a doctor who was a client — he did them back door — I came in the back door after hours and paid them off the books. This kept my name off any records… At least one of my abortions was from Planned Parenthood because they didn’t ask any questions.

Basic biology disproves the woman's next claim that life doesn't begin at conception. It, in fact, does begin at conception. Dr. Tara Sander Lee, a molecular geneticist with over 20 years of experience in academic and clinical medicine, including a fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital, and a molecular pathology inspector for the College of American Pathologists, explained why it is a scientific certainty that life begins at fertilization:

At the moment a sperm fuses with an egg (known as fertilization or conception), a new, unique human being that is genetically distinct from both parents comes into existence. Gender, ethnicity, hair color, eye color, and countless other traits are determined at that moment. This genetic blueprint remains the same for his or her entire life, and no other human being past or future will have one identical to it.

The Bible does not support abortion

Abortion activists frequently claim that the Bible is not pro-life, or — as this woman claimed — that the Bibleis actually pro-abortion. This is a fundamental misunderstanding of Biblical texts and Bible verses being taken out of context.

In reality, the Bible has multiple passages that specifically defend the protection of life in the womb, and explicitly acknowledge the humanity of preborn children. In addition, one of the earliest Christian documents apart from the New Testament, called the Didache, the Teaching Through the Twelve Apostles, states, “You shall not murder a child by abortion nor kill a child once born.”
