The Revolutionary Guards said on Sunday they struck US naval logistics facilities and aircraft carrier refueling platforms at the Omani port of Duqm in retaliation for US attacks.

US Central Command said on Saturday its forces launched a third round of strikes against Iran this week after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps allegedly attacked the M/V GFS Galaxy, a Cyprus-flagged container ship transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

US President Donald Trump has given American negotiators limited time to reach an agreement with Iran, the Associated Press reported on Saturday, citing US officials. The officials said Trump had a wide range of options if talks failed.

Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in a message on Saturday described retaliation for his father’s death in a February 28 airstrike as “a national demand”, adding that it “will most certainly be carried out.”

Trump said 1,000 US missiles were aimed at Iran, with thousands more ready, warning Tehran would face overwhelming strikes if it attempted to assassinate him.

IRGC figures and clerics intensified calls for revenge over Khamenei’s killing, including a call to strike Trump, although US intelligence has found no new specific assassination plot.
