The Al-Qaeda Candidate is Heading to Congress

Jan. 3, 2027 will be a historic day. Barring some unforeseeable circumstance, when the fateful day comes around, Hisham “Adam” Hamawy will become the first member of the United States House of Representatives to have worked for a group linked to al-Qaeda, and to have served as a defense witness for a jihad terror leader. The way the Democrat Party is going, he likely won’t be the last. And so America must face the reality: the enemies are well inside the gates, and inside the corridors of power as well. The conquest is well underway.

Hamawy knows how to play the game. The New York Post reported Tuesday that Hamawy interned with Benevolence International, which al-Qaeda “used by the terror group as a front ‘to establish a base for operations in Europe against Al Qaeda’s true enemy, the United States.’” But don’t even think about looking askance at Hamawy for this association: “A spokesperson for his campaign described attacks on Hamawy’s work with the foundation as ‘desperate,’ ‘absurd’ and ‘bigoted.’”

Of course. It’s all just “Islamophobia.” After all, it isn’t as if Hamawy had interned with a group that opposed jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women, and called upon Muslims to renounce the violent, misogynist and supremacist aspects of their religion. That would have gotten the Democrats to shun and denounce him in a hurry. In fact, in that case, he never would have even come close to having a chance to run for Congress as a Democrat in the first place.

But hating Israel and wanting to see it destroyed and vouching for the Blind Sheikh, the jihad terror mastermind Omar Abdel Rahman? That’s the quick route to Democrat stardom these days, and so Mr. Hamawy is going to Washington.

The Post notes that Hamawy “was called as a defense witness to dispute a government informant’s accusations that Abdel-Rahman urged his followers to murder then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. At trial, the future Democratic congressional hopeful also testified that comments Abdel-Rahman made about ‘conquering the land of the infidels’ were being taken ‘out of context’ by prosecutors, according to a transcript of proceedings.”

Of course. The Blind Sheikh tried to take down the Twin Towers in 1993, but he didn’t want to conquer the land of the infidels. In fact, no Muslims want to do that. On May 27, 2026, former Muslim American Society (MAS) President Esam Omeish said: “We must do to America what we think is our responsibility, and the best thing we can do to America is help guide it with the guidance of Islam.” But he doesn’t want to conquer the land of the infidels.

In late March, a prominent Muslim speaker and teacher in Britain, Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble, stated that Islam “has been sent to dominate, to wipe out, to take out every other religion.” But he doesn’t want to conquer the land of the infidels.

At a February rally in New York City, a speaker told a large Muslim crowd: “Oh, don’t scare them, brothers! Relax! They’re over here on purpose to be like, ‘Oh my God!’ Who’s seen those videos where they’re like, ‘Oh my God, the Muslims are taking over New York City!’ Seen those? You seen those? Let them know that we are taking over New York City! Takbir!” And the crowd responds with an enthusiastic “Allahu akbar.” But they don’t want to conquer the land of the infidels, either.

Also, back in Dec. 2025, a young Somali Muslim in the U.S. made a video. Holding a large photo of President Donald Trump, the young man said: “My biggest fear in life is that this man may never witness our full takeover. Yes, he may never wi— witness that. He already witnessed our partial takeover, our little success, in America…. So. He’s old and sick, I know, he may not witness our full takeover. But I promise you that his sons will witness.” But — yes — even this forward-thinking chap doesn’t want to conquer the land of the infidels.

Hisham Hamawy would have us believe that to think otherwise would be to take the words of this young man, and numerous similar statements from Muslim leaders, out of context. It would be “Islamophobic” to think that when Muslims boast that they’re taking over, that they actually want to take over. It would likewise be “Islamophobic” to suspect that a Muslim who worked for a group that brought down the Twin Towers in 2001, and who testified on behalf of a man who tried to take them down in 1993, might also have conquest of the land of the infidels in mind.

Meanwhile, that conquest continues.
