At the very beginning of the now-violent protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Los Angeles, a newscast sympathetic to the protestors showed members and former members of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) stirring up trouble.

In addition to CAIR San Diego Executive Director Tazheen Nizam, there was Taha Hassane, a member of CAIR as recently as September 2024, and former CAIR staff member Yusef Miller.

Tazheen Nizam stood behind a large banner that denounced ICE, while other speakers took turns railing against the law enforcement agency.

Tear gas was used to stop the people who were, as the news outlet reported, “banding together condemning the aggressive actions” of ICE agents.

“ICE out of California, ICE out of San Diego. Power to the people. Amen!” said one speaker.

Just as back in 2020, when the death of George Floyd was the pretext for violence in the street, we have sympathetic news coverage of the riots, and violent groups funded by the Democrat establishment.

CAIR was a part of it then, and they are a part of it now.
