Dem Congressional Candidate Praised Stalin

There have been volumes written about the Mamdani backed Muslim convert Dariazila Avila Chevalier who has become the Democrat congressional nominee. And I’ve written some of them.

“I forgot to get napkins so I just wiped my hand on the American flag behind me,” she posted online in 2019 along with a smiling face emoji.

Her “Recently Read” page, meanwhile, lists two books by PFLP spokesman Ghassan Kanafani. During Kanfani’s tenure, the PFLP became notorious for masterminding the slaughter of Israeli citizens and Puerto Rican Christian pilgrims at Lod Airport in 1972, and subsequently pioneering the terrorist practice of skyjacking.

“Seize the means of production,” she wrote in a since-deleted 2019 post, the phrase commonly associated with Marxism.

She co-founded CUAD or Columbia University Apartheid Divest which tweeted “Death to America.”

But of course there’s always more.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump accused Avila Chevalier of being a communist, a charge that she said she wouldn’t respond to while on MSNOW, saying, “I won’t be reactive.”

Also because it’s true.

The account’s bio read in 2020, “how communist of you.” Archived posts and retweets during this timeframe included a recommendation that Karl Marx’s Capital was an “essential must-read,” a complaint that public libraries did not carry enough Marxist literature by Lenin and other revolutionary writers, and a retweet from a Communist-identifying account lamenting that bookstore “banned books” displays did not include The Complete Works of J. V. Stalin.

One archived retweet from 2020 quoted Assata Shakur, the former Black Liberation Army member who, in 1977, was convicted in the murder of a New Jersey state trooper before later escaping prison and fleeing to Cuba. In the quote, Shakur said she “preferred Ho Chi Minh, Kim Il Sung, Che, or Fidel (Castro)” before studying Marx and Lenin because the two “white dudes” had made contributions to “revolutionary struggle” that were “too great to be ignored.”

The media is insisting that Chevalier and other Mamdani nominees are just ‘democratic socialists’.

Just ‘domestic socialists’ who like Stalin.
