President Donald Trump holds a meeting with members of his cabinet on Tuesday, August 26.

The meeting comes after the president issued an executive order Monday making it a federal crime to desecrate the American flag and also fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook.

“I have determined that there is sufficient cause to remove you from your position,” Trump wrote in a letter to Cook dismissing her.
