Want to leave America? Your terms are acceptable.
It’s no surprise that Democrats lie about one particular promise/threat. That’s the promise, and several of its related promises, that if Donald Trump were elected POTUS, or something else Democrats hate comes to pass, they’d immediately move out of the country. They get our hopes up, and then decide they’d rather stick around and suffer under the fascist, Nazi, Jew-loving, name your Trump hatred here--did I mention Trump’s a Nazi fascist?—Trump and all the rest of the Walmart-shopping, smelly, missing-toothed Deplorables. Perhaps the only celebrity who actually kept that promise was Rosie O’Donnell, who moved to Ireland, but kept up a steady, daily stream of psychotic anti-Trump commentary, so much so that she admitted Trump Derangement Syndrome was making her crazy.

She has reportedly suggested moving out of America wasn’t such a bright idea after all and even got a facelift for her recent trip back to the States, because who doesn’t do that?
We often hear of people, particularly Democrats, who express a desire to live anywhere but America. Their reasons for wanting to emigrate are commonly understood: Trump, Trump and TRUMP! America is racist, sexist, and every other “ist” one can imagine. America is Islamophobic, transphobic, homophobic, and has every other imaginable kind of phobia Democrats loathe. They also hate energy independence, honest elections, the rule of law, the Constitution, the Electoral College, the Supreme Court, the First and Second Amendments, trillions in foreign investment in America, stopping trillions in fraud, lowered taxes and unnecessary regulations, smaller government, and the list of horrible, uniquely American afflictions goes on and on and on.

A recent poll reveals even more Democrats than most Americans thought want to flee to countries more conducive to their sensibilities:

At Powerline, John Hinderaker observes:
It is interesting that there is very little difference based on income or ethnicity. The huge difference is political: Democrats want to live somewhere else, Republicans don’t. I find the Democrats’ offer acceptable and would like to see if there is a way to satisfy their desire.

Seriously, I do think that the U.S. may be in the process of breaking up. When Democrats say they would like to live in a different country, I think it means they want a country of their own–a socialist country where there are 256 genders, no rich people, no free speech, no religion. Someday, I think they may get it. Because there is no basis for common citizenship between us, who love our country and want to preserve it, and them, who hate our country and want to destroy it.
Hinderaker is quite right that it may come down to nothing harder to understand than that. Democrats want a single-party political system that is not free, productive, prosperous, and truly tolerant. Many don’t quite know what to call that, but others do: communism, the economic/political system that has caused more poverty, misery, death, and destruction than any other in history. It’s the system that killed more than $100 million of its own people in the last century alone, and is doubtless upset it’s not going to break that record this century because there aren’t many communist nations left, the rest having imploded.

Other Democrats think Islam is the answer but are apparently too dim to understand Islam is working hard to break the communist all-time genocide/murder record, and Islamists would be more than happy to add them to the death toll in particularly ugly and gruesome ways.
And sorry, Democrats, but we Normal Americans built and maintain this country. We love it. We’re keeping it. But feel free to move whenever it suits you. Just don’t come back. Ever.
What of the 10% of Republicans who want to leave? There are certainly never-Trumpers among them, including politicians Trump has exposed as RINOs and figuratively beaten like rented mules. Perhaps some yearn for the charm of the Europe of their ancestors, a Europe that hasn’t existed for a long time and in the near future, may not exist at all. Maybe McDonald’s keeps getting their drive-through order wrong, or they’re upset over the apparent demise of Star Wars and Star Trek. Who knows?
When anyone complains of the horrors of living in America and expresses an earnest desire to go elsewhere, I tell them: “your terms are acceptable,” and bid them not to let the screen door whack them in the ass on their way out.
