Fake journalists: That’s Chairman Warsh to you

The Federal Reserve is having its first policy meeting with Kevin Warsh as chairman. Get that? Chairman!

As chairman, he has already brought some appellation common sense to the central bank’s inner sanctum, as well as its public-facing facade. The Federal Reserve website shows Mr. Warsh as Chairman, not “chair.” Predecessor Yellen was chair, and the effete little twit known as “too late” Powell was also chair. What a wussy.

It’s noteworthy, if not surprising, that the liberal financial press were keen to embrace the gender-neutral moniker for Yellen and “too late." Neither is it surprising that they are being obsessively obstinate in refusing to adapt to Chairman Warsh’s wishes. Here are three links (there are many more examples, but you get the point…) where pitiful financial reporters are still referring to Mr. Chairman Warsh as “chair” of the Federal Reserve:

Again, there are many more examples. To be “fair,” PBS gets it right: “Kevin Warsh sworn in as chairman of the Federal Reserve”

Perhaps their recalcitrance is born of indolence and ignorance (Warsh’s title preference is no secret), or they are simpleton leftists denying reality.

Either way it is more than mildly annoying. After all, their slanted coverage always — always — teeters left, so how can they be trusted with more consequential items? For example: despite oil prices falling, stocks soaring, the economy humming (strong GDP and jobs reports, for example), potential peace looming, and World Cup visitors loving America, pessimism and cynicism cloud their contemptuous coverage. I get the sense the soccer-reveling foreigners love America more than they do.

That’s Chairman Warsh to you, you disrespectful little pukes. Now get off your chair and man up.
