Predictably, Dems are whining about the new name of the Kennedy Center: the Trump-Kennedy Center. Why stop the renaming there? Let’s give the lefty whiners something to really whine about.

President Trump is very proud indeed of his Space Force. Furthermore, he is launching a New Age of American Space Achievement. A new age that requires a new name for the main launch site?

NASA's Launch Operations Center was named the John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) by President Lyndon B. Johnson. Kennedy's clarion call was to send men to the Moon, and return them safely to Earth, of course.

Finally, after a 50-plus year lunar hiatus, President Trump has the vision to not only return men there, but to establish a base camp near the Lunar South Pole. Upcoming manned Moon missions will launch from the KSC propelled by Artemis III rockets.

Actually, they should be launched from a newly-named Trump-Kennedy Space Center. Or the Trump-Musk Space Center, since SpaceX's Human Landing System will descend to the lunar surface. That would really send the Dems into a tizzy, while sending proponents of a MAGA heritage into orbit, as it were.

As for potential future missions to Mars -- how can they reasonably be launched from the KSC? After all, it is Trump who wants to put humans on Mars; quixotic Musk is even more exotic, wanting to colonize the planet. If such a mission is embarked upon by brave astronauts, it would clearly have to originate from the Trump-Musk Space Center, not the old-fashioned KSC.

The leftist whiners worry that Trump wants to rename everything after himself. Not quite, but the KSC is an obvious start.

If anyone has “everything” named after him it is Obama -- here’s a long list of things. It includes various buildings and infrastructure, but what sticks out is the extinct lizard (Obamadon gracilis). It is sleek, but still a lizard. The eponymous sea slug (Placida barackobamai), also seems appropriate. Even parasites and spiders have been named after Obama, which is probably an insult to the worms.

By contrast, many of the things named after Trump have “tower,” “plaza,” or “golf course,” in their name. You know, useful things that the “builder president” built before agreeing to help save our Republic from the leftist swamp.

Obama’s name is overindulged, but the point is that many politicians love to see their names everywhere, even when the connection to their stewardship or porky largesse is dubious. One that would be obvious, rather than dubious, is the Trump-Musk Space Center.

As with the nascent White House Ballroom, the lefties are protesting too much about the newly named Trump-Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. As usual, their behavior is off-kilter, a veritable tempest in a teapot. Since they won’t constrain their TDS tantrums, to reach a stable equilibrium we must up catch up -- give them something to cry about.
