Ro Khanna Was Against Capital Gains Taxes Before He Was for Them - Says He Can't WAIT to Tax His Wife
Earlier today, I wrote about Democrat Ro Khanna getting into a somewhat heated back-and-forth with a rich guy about the new wealth tax in California. If you didn't have the opportunity to read it, basically, Khanna admitted that the money he has comes from his wealthy wife, and he'd be happy to tax her more.
No, really.
Can you imagine being Khanna's wife and seeing him emasculate himself in front of all of X and then bragging about how much he'd like to tax you more?
Then again, she married the doofus; she probably knows better than anyone that he's full of crap.
Like most politicians.

Especially when it comes to things like raising taxes - for example, just last year, Khanna OPPOSED the very wealth tax he's supporting now. Almost as if none of them actually stand for or believe in anything and vote as the lobbyists tell them to.
Watch this:
RO KHANNA IN 2024 WAS AGAINST TAXES ON UNREALIZED CAPITAL GAINS
“Let me tell you why I don't think a blanket tax in unrealized gains is a good thing:
Say you're an entrepreneur, create a company that gets to $100 million or $200 million on paper. After taxing that you're… pic.twitter.com/LYdbZ7NyH6

... probably going to force that person to sell it. Probably going to sell it to private equity.
Do you really want the entrepreneurs to be forced to sell their companies to larger institutions and to decline in value?
I don't think that's what you want for a start-up… this is not the right way to do it and also 95% of investments in start-ups fail.
You're going to disincentivize investments in those start-ups.“
Gosh, what could have changed in only a year?
OOH OOH. I KNOW.
What's really interesting here is that he could be having the same debate with HIMSELF from last year, as the Californians voicing their concerns have all said the same basic things he gave as reasons to oppose the tax the previous year.
Crazy, right?
