Sometimes I wonder if Ro Khanna stops and thinks about a statement before he publishes it on X. 

Ro thinks the government should tax the heck out of people because Washington bureaucrats know how to spend your money better than you do.  Come on — can you picture the Founding Fathers hearing that? They'd be spinning in their graves. 

These guys literally started a revolution over taxes and distant rulers telling them how to live. A bunch of them bailed on Europe to get away from exactly this kind of crap: heavy taxes and governments that act like they own your earnings and get to make your choices for you.  And now? We're watching billions in federal money disappear into Medicaid, food stamps, healthcare, and childcare scams every year. Just last year the government admitted to $186 billion in improper payments across federal programs with Medicaid and SNAP alone wasting around $47.6 billion.

Does Ro seriously think Americans are itching to hand over even more cash to that same system so it can keep funneling it to fraudsters with basically zero real oversight? 

 Nah. People want results, not more blank checks.

The only reason this is now being investigated is the Trump administration demanded it. 

Had a Democrat won the election, we would know nothing of this. Yet, the Democrats are still demanding more money.

At least Elon Musk delivers real value: Starlink keeps people connected during hurricanes, earthquakes, and wars; SpaceX is expanding humanity’s reach into space; and Tesla makes desirable electric cars that people actually want to buy. 

Meanwhile, the federal government takes more and more of Americans’ earnings through taxes and often redirects that money to foreign governments, NGOs, and interests that actively oppose U.S. values or security while everyday citizens face rising costs, inflation, and IRS pressure.
