James Carville Tries to Distance Himself From the Looming Democratic Socialist Disaster He Helped Create

I have to wonder if James Carville owns a mirror, because if he does, I would suggest he take a good, long look at it. There are few people who have done more to actually undermine the Democratic Party than Carville. For a guy who once coined the phrase, 'It's the economy, stupid,' Carville has forgotten that very simple reality.
Instead, he's encouraged the Democrats to show no mercy if they regain power. This includes granting statehood (and four extra Senate seats) to Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, packing the Supreme Court with an additional four Leftist Justices, reopening the border, and granting mass amnesty to every illegal alien. He called it 'saving democracy,' of course.
His Trump Derangement Syndrome knows no bounds, either. The irony is that Carville, who has been around for years, has seen this before and should know better. Bill Clinton was the rational centrist antidote to a 20-year lurch to the Left that began with McGovern and ended with Dukakis.
But this isn't the same Democratic Party Carville is used to dealing with. Quite the contrary. It's now a party, thanks to being so mired in the same Trump Derangement Syndrome, being infiltrated and used by radical Leftists to advance communism.
Following the sweeping wins of Democratic Socialists of America in NYC this week, Carville says he's done with the Democrats. Of course, as he often does, he comes out after the final whistle to tell the Democrats they played the game wrong instead of sounding the alarm two, six, or 12 months ago. He simply thinks these are naive kids who just don't know any better. Quite the contrary; they know. It's Carville who doesn't.
RecommendedThese radicals aren't trying to score wins for the Democratic Party; they're looking to hollow it out and wear its skin as a dress on Bolshevik prom night. The Democratic Party is not its raison d'etre, it's just their latest means to an end, and once they've sucked it dry they'll toss it and Carville over their shoulder like an empty beer can.
'I'm Done, I'm Not in That F*cking Political Party': James Carville Freaks Out After Progressives Win Big in Democratic Primaries https://t.co/sMgGOpIoLl

Here's more:
Democratic strategist James Carville called for a “schism” in the Democratic Party, stating that he wants nothing to do with the likes of three candidates who won their Democratic primaries in New York.
On Tuesday, three candidates endorsed by New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, won Democratic primaries for the House of Representatives.
Former NYC comptroller Brad Lander crushed Rep. Dan Goldman to earn the nomination in the 10th district. Union organizer Darializa Avila Chevalier defeated Rep. Adriano Espaillat in the 13th district. And state Rep. Claire Valdez trounced Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso in the 7th district. All three districts are solidly blue, and so the Mamdani-backed candidates are expected to win.
Carville's mistake for the last several years has been believing these people are simply over-eager Democrats biting off more than they can chew. The reality is that these are today's Maoists on the latest Long March. Their aim is to destroy the dead hand of the past, whether it ends in a (R) or a (D).
This shouldn't surprise anyone who has read a history book. Today's revolutionaries are tomorrow's reactionaries, true believers willing to cleanse the world with fire. In fact, Rep. Adriano Espaillat endorsed Zohran Mamdani last year. It took less than 12 months for Mamdani to sell him out to the commies.
As Mark Twain noted, history may not repeat itself, but it does often rhyme.
Demonizing Donald Trump may do wonders for fundraising in the election cycle, but it ignores not only the fact that Donald Trump is out of office after 2028, but that Democratic Socialists are not allies of the Democratic Party. They're the passport to the guillotine, if you'll pardon my French Revolution reference. In the eyes of these commies, the party of Clinton and Carville is just as guilty as the party of Reagan and Trump.
Carville is probably right that schism is necessary to save the Democratic Party, if the Democrats have the spine to do it. Of course, I welcome the chaos. The more radical the Democratic Party becomes, the better the chances for Republicans. After all, the response to the radicalism of the Biden years — and the Biden years were radical — was to reelect President Trump.
