President Trump publicly rebuked Israel over their war with Hezbollah and even suggested that Syria would do a better job taking care of Hezbollah than Israel.

Seriously:

This is something like what you might have heard from Obama or Biden. And it makes me cringe.

Look, I know Israel isn’t perfect and makes mistakes like any other country at war. But if Trump has issues with Israel, our best and strongest ally in the Middle East, he needs to keep them from becoming public. This kind of public ragging on Israel, when they are at war with an Islamic enemy that continues to fire rockets at innocent Israeli civilians, all because they hate the Jews and want them exterminated – well it’s just not something I ever though I would hear from President Trump.
