Iran fired four ballistic missiles at Jordan this morning, three of which were intercepted while the fourth one landed in a remote area.

The Jordanian armed forces says they intercepted three of them:

But i24News says they were actually intercepted by the US, while Israel only launched interceptors toward the debris falling over southern Israel:

I’m thinking it was the US that did the intercepting here, but perhaps they did it in conjunction with Jordan’s armed forces.

Late last night, the US retaliated over the previous Iranian strike in Jordan that killed 2 service members:

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed another round of strikes against Iran on July 18 at 11:30 p.m. ET, at the Commander in Chief’s direction.

During the eighth consecutive night of U.S strikes, CENTCOM forces successfully hit Iranian military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites to continue degrading Iranian military capabilities. American military assets also targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that launched attacks against U.S. service members in Jordan on July 17.
