Democrat Dimwit Jasmine Crockett Went Full Panic Mode After Exposing Insane Narcissism in 'The Atlantic' Profile - đ The Liberty Daily
(DCNF)âDemocrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett threatened to bar The Atlantic from publishing a profile about her after a reporter for the outlet reached out to several of her congressional colleagues without her permission.
The Atlanticâs Elaine Godfrey reached out to dozens of Democrat congressmen, including members of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees to give insight on Crockett for the lengthy profile, according to The Atlanticâs profile on the congresswoman. Four days before the profileâs publication, Crockett reportedly âexpressed frustrationâ when she learned that Godfrey had spoken to her colleagues without informing her first and threatened to shut the interview down in its entirety.
âAs for her colleagues, four days before this story was published, Crockett called me to express frustration that I had reached out to so many House members without telling her first. She was, she told me, âshutting down the profile and revoking all permissions,ââ Godfrey wrote.
Some interesting details from The Atlantic's profile of Rep. Jasmine Crockett:
1. Her phone's lock screen is a photo of herself
2. She thought she deserved to be the top Dem on Oversight because she has the largest social media following
3. She tried to shut down the profile⌠pic.twitter.com/CvRlFtRNkdâ Amber Duke (@ambermarieduke) July 28, 2025
Thirteen members of the Oversight and Judiciary Committees, along with 20 Democrats, either did not respond or declined to comment, Godrey wrote. Among those who did respond was Democratic Texas Rep. Julie Johnson, who said that while her fellow members do not ânecessarily agree with her aggressive communication style,â she is âthrilledâ with Crockett.
Senior staffers for three Democrat congressional members said that Crockettâs colleagues view her as âundisciplined,â but they refrain from expressing their opinions publicly, according to Godfreyâs profile.
Crockett is reportedly âhighly consciousâ of her outward appearance and even has a headshot of herself as her phone lock screen, according to The Atlantic. The rowdy congresswoman further complained that her party should have rallied behind her to become the next chairwoman of the Oversight Committee because she has one of the âlargest social media following[s].â
While Godfrey interviewed Crockett at the Waldorf hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, the congresswoman called one of her staffers right in front of her and scolded him for an âunclear noteâ on her schedule. She also rebuked an aide for bringing her a paper bag full of food that supposedly looked like âcrap.â
After she and other black students allegedly received âracist threatsâ at Rhodes College, Crockett also claimed that a black, female attorney from the Cochran Firm became her âsheroâ after she supposedly represented her and other students, according to The Atlantic. Despite idolizing the attorney, the congresswoman could not recall her name, nor could the Cochran Firm recall an incident where any of their staff worked on a case with Crockett.
