One Way or Another: The Insanely Easy Choice Facing America on Immigration – The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

Progressive activists have spent the past 16 months or so whining about President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda. “Mass deportations are inhumane,” they complain. (It’s worth noting that the same people who moan that mass deportations are inhumane and that the word “retarded” is offensive are the same people who lauded YouTuber Jesse Ridgway and his wife for aborting their unborn baby after learning he would likely have Down Syndrome.) The United States currently stands on a precipice, balanced on the edge of a knife, as it were: teetering too far to the left will result into a post-nation collapse. The nation’s people, culture, history, traditions, customs, sovereignty, safety, security will all go up in flames, sacrificed on the altar of some “propositional nationhood,” some sick determination that because all men are created equal, all cultures created by men must also be equal. America as a nation will cease to exist.

[A] sick determination that because all men are created equal, all cultures created by men must also be equal.

For a glance at what lies in the abyss on the other side of the knife, one need only look at Belfast. Riots have erupted across the capital of Northern Ireland, as both Irish nationalists and Ulster unionists, once the bitterest of bitter enemies, have joined forces to set fire to immigrant housing estates. Much like in parts of the U.S., the U.K. and Irish governments actually pay the rent (or at least most of it, depending on circumstances) for countless third-world “immigrants” who have swarmed to the British Isles and the Emerald Isle. Unlike in the U.S., however, the government rarely tries to hide what it’s doing to facilitate the invasion of its borders and the ethnic replacement of its people. (RELATED: On Belfast)

For context, the internet has also been set ablaze by the story of young Henry Nowak, a British 18-year-old who was stabbed to death by 23-year-old Vickram Digwa, a Sikh immigrant carrying a ceremonial knife, despite the U.K.’s notorious ban on most weapons. Shockingly, it was Digwa who called the police to report a crime: he claimed that he had been “racially assaulted” by Nowak. When police arrived at the scene, they handcuffed Nowak, even as he bled to death. This happened in December, but the bodycam footage was only released to the public recently, causing outrage across the Western World. Nowak had been stabbed at least five times, and as police put their manacles on the bleeding British boy, he reported that he had been stabbed. “I don’t think you have, mate,” the responding officer quipped. (RELATED: Five Quick Things: Henry Nowak, the Inevitable British Civil War, and What It Means for Us)

Just days after the release of the chilling Nowak footage, an African immigrant was caught on camera in Belfast, repeatedly hacking away with a machete at the face and neck of a man lying on the street in what has been labeled an “attempted beheading.” The victim, British man Stephen Ogilvie, was rescued by Belfast resident Maitiu Mág Tighearnán, a husband and father who was returning from hurling practice with his son and used a hefty hurling stick to fend off the attacker. Imagine if Mr. Mág Tighearnán hadn’t happened by. Mr. Ogilvie no doubt would have been successfully beheaded, and the police would have likely responded, “I don’t think you have, mate.”

These two gruesome events are not outliers. Rather, they sit atop a heap of other travesties visited upon the U.K. and Ireland, at the hands of both “immigrant” insurgents and the spineless, suicidally self-loathing governments that have facilitated the insurgency. In June 2023, Guinea-Bissau national Valdo Calocane stabbed to death 19-year-olds Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar and 65-year-old Ian Coates in Nottingham before driving a van through a crowd in his attempt to escape. (He was convicted of manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility due to schizophrenia, by the way. British taxpayers are now funding his indefinite detention.) Just across the Irish channel, Algerian national Riad Bouchaker stabbed a care assistant and three five-year-old children outside a school in Dublin, just months after Calocane’s rampage. The following year, Axel Rudakubana, the son of Rwandan immigrants, murdered three young girls — six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar — outside a dance class in Southport, further injuring 10 other girls and a teacher.

These are just a smattering of the many instances of barbaric, unprovoked violence committed by third-world escapees in the U.K. and Ireland. Most of them pale in comparison to the scale and depravity of the Muslim rape gangs that have been uncovered — after decades (yes, decades!) of being shielded by police and prosecutors who would rather allow countless innocent British children to be brutally gang-raped and sodomized than face the possibility of being called “racist.” Most of the details reported by investigators and victims in recent years are enough to make any sane man lose all faith in humanity. They are the stuff of nightmares, demoniac aberrations that put to shame even the most depraved of horror writers. Many girls were systematically gang-raped by Muslim men more than twice their age for a series of years; some were kept on hard drugs in order to maintain docility; friends or family members who dared try to defend the victims were threatened with death or even assaulted. (RELATED: You Get (and Deserve) What You Tolerate. That Isn’t Good News for the UK.)

No matter how much propaganda the progressive elites relentlessly peddle, no matter how entrenched the celebration of “multiculturalism” and “pluralistic society” has become, no matter how grotesquely simpering government officials fawn over unwashed hordes of third world invaders, there is still (and, God willing, always will be) at least some share of every Western nation’s population that does not fall for the propaganda, appreciates no culture but their own, and holds those simpering, fawning, toad-eating government officials in contempt as traitors, on a par with Judas Iscariot.

In Belfast, that share of loyal citizens of the West has finally decided that enough is enough and is simply torching the “homes” of “immigrants.” One too many British teenagers have been slaughtered by some newcomer with a name straight out of Star Wars’s Mos Eisley Cantina. One too many English girls has been raped halfway to death by some turban-wearing pervert who considers white skin and Christian heritage signs of inferiority. One too many Irish children have been butchered by someone receiving government checks to pay for his housing, while the rest of Ireland faces a years-long housing crisis.

The leftist agitators clamoring for an end to the “Holocaust” of mass deportations and smearing federal law enforcement agents as “Nazis” or the “Gestapo” for simply enforcing the laws that no one bothered to enforce for decades would do well to turn their attention to Belfast. Mass deportations are inhumane, you say? As a matter of fact, mass deportations are the kindest, most charitable, most moderate, most milquetoast solution possible to the present crisis.

Want to know what is inhumane? In 2018, 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts was raped to death by a Mexican national, who first sodomized her with an ear of corn so viciously that her intestines were ruptured. In 2022, 20-year-old Kayla Marie Hamilton was strangled to death by a Salvadoran national. In 2023, mother-of-five Rachel Morin was beaten to death, her head smashed to pieces against a tunnel wall, and then raped by a Salvadoran national, both as she bled to death and post-mortem. In February of 2024, nursing student Laken Riley was assaulted by a Venezuelan national; when Riley fought back against the illegal alien trying to rape her, he beat her to death with a rock, caving her skull in. That same year, 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray was raped and strangled by two Venezuelan nationals, who left her corpse in a creek. Mother-of-five Camillia Williams was murdered and then raped by a Honduran national. An 18-year-old girl was raped by a Mexican national who had previously been deported. A 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a Mexican national. An 83-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran was shoved onto the New York City subway tracks and killed by an illegal alien who had been deported four times previously. A Haitian national who was granted humanitarian “temporary protected status” used a hammer to kill a 51-year-old gas station clerk. A Honduran national kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl. A Venezuelan teenager murdered a co-worker with a sledgehammer. A Guatemalan national raped a five-year-old girl so viciously that she needed surgery to repair her sex organs. A Mexican national raped and assaulted two teenage girls, one of whom was handicapped. Another Mexican national raped an 11-year-old girl at knifepoint while holding her 10-year-old sister hostage. A Guatemalan national lost his temper at the television and killed his three-month-old daughter via “blunt force trauma.”

Again, this is but a mere smattering of examples of the atrocities visited upon the American people just over the past several years. Permitting this nightmare to continue — more American women and children sadistically raped, more American sons and daughters murdered and maimed, more American mothers and fathers left childless because someone with no concept of Western morals, laws, customs, or culture was let into the country and shouldn’t have been — would be inhumane. Mass deportations are not.

Let the political class understand the lesson of Belfast: We will have our nation back, one way or another. America and her leaders have a golden opportunity at present to reclaim their nation in a humane, sensible, dignified manner, despite the whimpers of open-borders apologists. Future generations can look back upon this time not as the reign of the “Gestapo,” but as a marriage of both charity and justice. That golden opportunity won’t last forever, though, and once it fades, the American people will plunge headfirst off the other side of the knife, and there is no guarantee that what we do will be humane. But we will have our nation back, one way or another.
