Biden's White House Doctor Called to Testify on Mental Decline Cover-Up - Slay News

Joe Biden’s longtime personal physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, has been called to testify before Congress regarding the cover-up of the former president’s mental and physical decline during his presidency.
O’Connor has been subpoenaed by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) as part of an investigation into the cover-up.
Comer announced the subpoena Thursday, compelling O’Connor to testify under oath on June 27.
This comes after the White House previously blocked O’Connor from testifying voluntarily.
In a post on X, alongside a copy of the subpoena, Comer wrote:
“No autopen was used in the signing of this subpoena.
“I expect Dr. Kevin O’Connor, President Joe Biden’s physician, to appear for a deposition on June 27, 2025, as part of [the Oversight Committee] investigation into the cover-up of Joe Biden’s decline & unauthorized use of the autopen.”

The comment took a jab at the use of an autopen by Biden’s aides to sign executive actions.
According to the Oversight Committee, the investigation centers on Biden’s cognitive fitness, recent medical concerns, and potential conflicts of interest between O’Connor and the Biden family.
Those potential conflicts include whether the doctor’s personal and financial ties influenced public health disclosures.
“The Committee expressed its interest in whether your financial relationship with the Biden family affected your assessment of former President Biden’s physical and mental fitness to fulfill his duties,” the subpoena reads.
O’Connor has been Biden’s physician since 2009.
He has consistently provided glowing health assessments, including during Biden’s presidency.
But critics argue these assessments didn’t match what many Americans saw, especially in Biden’s final year in office.
“I have never had a better commander than Joe Biden,” O’Connor once said in a school profile, praising Biden’s honor and family values.
Those comments—and his closeness to the Bidens—have raised red flags among Republicans.
Many suspect O’Connor helped shield the president’s true condition from the public.
The scrutiny increased after Biden’s recent prostate cancer diagnosis and multiple reports from both the media and Democrats questioning his cognitive health.
Now, the Committee is demanding answers—under oath—about what O’Connor knew and whether there was an effort to mislead the American people during Biden’s time in the White House.
Meanwhile, Comer is also demanding answers from others in Biden’s inner circle.
As Slay News reported, Comer has been significantly escalating his investigation into the coordinated cover-up of Biden’s mental and physical decline.
The powerful Republican is now calling on five more high-ranking former White House officials to testify under oath.
Comer’s move signals growing concern among lawmakers that top aides may have quietly seized executive power.
Such efforts were shielding the American people from the reality of Biden’s diminishing capacity behind closed doors.
In new letters sent to five former senior staff earlier this week, Comer wrote:
“The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is investigating the role of former senior White House officials in possibly usurping authority from former President Joe Biden and the ramifications of a White House staff intent on hiding his rapidly worsening mental and physical faculties.”
Among those newly targeted are Biden’s former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, longtime Biden confidant Anita Dunn, top advisors Michael Donilon and Steve Ricchetti, and former Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Bruce Reed.
