Promising Young Athlete with Big Dreams

Smith arrived at Kentucky as a three-star defensive lineman out of Georgia after earning attention from multiple college programs, including Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern.

He ultimately chose Kentucky and spent his first season in Lexington as a redshirt freshman.

Although he did not appear in a game during the 2025 season, he was viewed as a promising addition to the Wildcats’ future defensive plans.

Before college, Smith excelled as a two-sport athlete at Walnut Grove High School in Walton County, Georgia, competing in both football and basketball.

According to his university biography, Smith hoped to one day play in the NFL and eventually own his own food business.

He was majoring in community and leadership development at Kentucky.
