Well, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani really stepped in the marinara sauce this time…

Italian Americans in New York City are furious after they got snubbed big time by the Marxist mayor.
Little Italy was left off the official map celebrating the city’s immigrant neighborhoods. Can you imagine? Little Italy is one of the most famous neighborhoods in New York City.
The snub came after Mamdani’s admin reportedly denied a permit for “Unity Day 2026.” This kicked things into overdrive, with Italian Americans believing one of New York’s oldest and most important communities was deliberately pushed aside.
It’s actually an insane move by Mamdani. It’s not like Little Italy is some random neighborhood with a catchy touristy name. Italian Americans helped build New York City, creating businesses, neighborhoods, food, politics, architecture, and a real culture for generations. Little Italy is literally one of the most recognizable immigrant neighborhoods in the entire country.
So, yeah, when a city campaign designed to celebrate immigrant New York somehow found room for thirty different neighborhoods, including unknown hoods like “Little Palestine” and “Little Haiti,” but left off the most popular immigrant neighborhood on earth, something’s up.
Needless to say, Italian Americans are pissed.
Italian American Civil Rights League:
Zohran Mamdani wants to ERASE Italian Americans.
First, he denied our permit for Unity Day 2026.
Now, he is excluding Little Italy as a recognized location all together on the map.
Italian Americans BUILT NEW YORK CITY. Not third world Ugandans,
We stand AGAINST COMMUNISTS!

Understandably, Italian Americans believe their history is being snuffed out by a political movement that rambles on endlessly about representation, heritage, and immigrant pride. But the only “immigrants” who fit into that agenda are the ones who support Marxism.
Mamdani’s supporters say Little Italy is overreacting. Really? Leaving Little Italy off a map dedicated to New York’s immigrant neighborhoods is so incredibly bizarre that many people think it had to be a political move. The neighborhood is literally synonymous with the city’s immigrant history.
And a deeper dive into the details makes this whole thing look worse… It turns out Little Italy wasn’t the only historic community left out.
The map, titled “New York City Immigrant Enclaves,” was created by New York City Tourism + Conventions as part of its NYC Neighborhood Passport campaign tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs has promoted the neighborhood map at pop-up booths across the city.
Map Includes Little Palestine, Leaves Out Little Italy
The tourism campaign encourages visitors to explore “diverse” communities across New York City.
The map includes 30 neighborhoods, ranging from Chinatown to lesser-known areas such as Little Palestine and Little Haiti.
However, Little Italy was not included.
The map also did not mention any Jewish or Irish neighborhoods.
The omission angered Italian American activists, who argued that one of New York’s most historic immigrant communities had been ignored while newer progressive-aligned constituencies were included.
All of the communities left off the map represent older immigrant groups that built deep roots in the city way before this progressive sh*tshow slithered onto the scene. But the new groups being featured fit more comfortably into Mamdani’s left-wing political agenda.
Which brings us to the pattern we’ve all seen, over and over again.
The left tells everybody to support “all women,” right? But that protection instantly disappears the moment a woman votes Republican or doesn’t toe the left-wing line. The same thing happens with the LGBTQ community. Dissenters are treated like traitors instead of people who can have their own views.
Now we’re seeing the same thing happen with immigrant groups.

The left claims to celebrate every immigrant story, but Italian Americans are learning that some histories matter more than others, especially when political loyalty is involved.
In the end, Mamdani wanted to promote a map. Instead, he drew a battle line with the feistiest group in all of NYC.
Good luck, Mam… you’re gonna need it.
