Sometimes it feels like the left has a whole team of high-profile benchwarmers just sitting there, waiting for their turn to step up to the plate and show off their stage 5 TDS. Robert De Niro, Stephen King, Jimmy Kimmel, Rosie O’Donnell, Bruce Springsteen, etc… you know the type. They sit on the bench, practically foaming at the mouth, yelling, “Put me in, coach!”

Then they take their swing, deliver the same tired anti-Trump tirade we’ve heard a thousand times, and shuffle back to the dugout until their turn comes around again.
These days, when you pay good money to see “The Boss” perform, you get to sit and listen to him preach about politics.
Any Bruce Springsteen fans out there? His early stuff was really good but it’s fallen off over the years..and when I go see a concert I go for the music and not the politics so it’s a pass for me as unfortunately that’s the route he goes..

Right now, Springsteen is up to bat, and he’s taking the whole insufferable, out-of-touch elitist lunatic routine to championship levels. His endless complaining about President Trump has become so tiresome, irritating, and pointless that even some of his fellow musicians are telling him to shut up.
Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain has had enough of Bruce and his incessant whining about all things Trump. So much so that he’s literally calling him a “bitter old man” and telling him to “shut up.”
Jonathan Cain, the longtime keyboardist for the legendary rock band Journey, wants music stars, especially Bruce Springsteen, to keep politics out of it, RadarOnline.com can believe.
The Dancing in the Dark hitmaker has not held back when it comes to bashing President Trump on his tour, and Cain is sick of it. ‘He’s An Annoying, Bitter Old Man’
“I used to be a Democrat back in the old days, but I couldn’t go there anymore, you know?” Cain said while appearing on the Complete Disaster Network podcast. “I’m a diehard conservative… And guys like Bruce Springsteen should shut up. You know, really, honestly, shut up, Bruce, you know? Him and… who’s the other one? Robert De Niro. I mean, who cares, guys? Do your art. I try to keep politics out of my music.”
The 76-year-old, who is married to evangelist Paula White-Cain, an advisor to Trump, also made it clear his conservative values are kept out of his music.
“Now, people say, ‘Well, you’re a Christian, and you’re conservative,’ and I’m like, ‘So what?’ I don’t preach it on stage. I don’t spend 10 minutes talking about it, Cain said in the podcast.

And speaking of epic callouts, President Trump dropped a doozy online a few months back, calling Springsteen a dried-up prune with TDS.
You’d think that after all the backlash, lost ticket sales, and low ratings, celebrities would stop trying to inject their politics into everything under the sun. But they can’t help themselves. It’s an obsession.
Why? Because they still can’t believe you dirty peasants had the gall to go against them and vote for Orange Man Bad.
That’s why we so greatly appreciate it when one of their own comes out and cross-checks them. We know it isn’t easy to be conservative in the entertainment business, but when someone speaks up, it makes news and reminds people like Springsteen that they’re performers, not politicians, and that their influence beyond singing and dancing is long gone.
