Something very revealing is happening right now inside the Republican Party, and once again, it started with a question somebody wasn’t supposed to ask.

Alex Bruesewitz, one of President Trump’s most effective outside political operators, brought up the topic of a possible Israeli-based foreign influence campaign on social media. And this was enough to trigger a full-blown meltdown from Rep. Randy Fine and Mark Levin, two of the loudest voices in the Israel First wing of the right.

Supporting Israel is a perfectly legitimate position. But so is questioning its government, lobbying operation, the American tax dollars that flow in, or any plot to shape political opinion. Americans criticize foreign governments every day without being accused of hating the actual people who live there. Israel shouldn’t be the one exception, yet it is.

Antisemitism is a problem, but using it as an excuse to silence every legit question about the Israeli government cheapens it and gives powerful people a really convenient way to shut down a debate they don’t want to have.

And Randy Fine’s response shows exactly how far this has gone. We’re off the rails at this point, folks.

Fine is reportedly threatening to vote against every single House rule until President Trump removes Alex from his orbit. All because he asked a simple question. This Republican congressman is willing to jam up Trump’s entire agenda, weaken a razor-thin House majority, and punish the American people because an America First operative asked a totally legit question about foreign influence.

So, we wonder: whose interests is Randy Fine actually serving here, because it’s not America’s, that’s for sure.

Fine’s demands have gone way beyond angry posts and online insults. He’s reportedly taken his grievance directly to White House officials and is now using his vote as leverage to blackmail President Trump into removing Alex… all because he thinks asking legit questions about Israel is “antisemitism.”

NOTUS:

Rep. Randy Fine has told White House officials he plans to vote against every rule that comes across the House floor until President Donald Trump removes adviser Alex Bruesewitz from his team, three sources tell NOTUS.

For weeks, Fine, a Florida Republican, has been telling colleagues he wants Trump to get rid of Bruesewitz, a top outside adviser to the president, one source told NOTUS. But recently Fine has ramped up this effort.

What Fine is doing has crossed the line from a silly social media feud into literal political sabotage and blackmail on behalf of Israel.

Fine is using his position in Congress as a weapon against Trump’s agenda until the president removes someone Fine personally dislikes. Alex isn’t accused of betraying the country, breaking the law, or working against the admin. His offense is asking questions that made the Israel First crowd uncomfortable and angry.

We don’t need to tell you what a dangerous standard this is.

Fine’s threats carry real-life consequences.

NOTUS:

On Tuesday, Fine was the sole Republican to vote against the rule laying out how the House will proceed on certain bills this week. Two sources familiar with the matter relayed to NOTUS that Fine told the White House he plans to vote against every rule until Trump fires Bruesewitz, who is not a White House employee but has the president’s ear.

Fine’s move could cut into House Speaker Mike Johnson’s already slim Republican majority, complicating passage of any substantive measure ahead of the midterms.

Fine was the only Republican to vote against the rule, and he plans to keep doing it until Trump gives him what he wants.

That means legislation important to Republican voters will become harder to pass because one congressman is furious about Alex Bruesewitz. To be clear… Mr. Fine’s happy to hand Dems leverage, create problems for Speaker Johnson, and interfere with the president’s agenda over a debate about Israel.

Keep in mind, Alex has played a major role in Trump’s America First movement and helped him connect with young male voters who proved so important in 2024.

NOTUS:

“There is a mind virus that is trying to infect the Republican party,” he wrote on X. “Tucker, Alex Bruesewitz, and Candace Owens fundamentally hate the American origin story. They seek to pit Jews and Christians against each other and fetishize Islam to distract from its stated goal to destroy the West.”

Bruesewitz has a close relationship with the president and many senior aides at the White House. He was a key player in orchestrating Trump’s podcast circuit in the 2024 election and helped the president win over young, male voters.

Since Fine has been making his demand of the White House, Bruesewitz has visited the Oval Office with Nicki Minaj to meet with Trump, according to photos Bruesewitz posted on social media.

Fine wants everyone to believe Alex represents some dangerous antisemitic infection growing within the Republican Party. But the actual facts don’t support that nonsense.

Calling people diseased, hateful, or disloyal doesn’t answer the questions they’re asking. It only shows bad feelings, and other Israel First figures want those questions to disappear.

And Mark Levin apparently agrees…

Mark’s words tell you exactly how terrified this group is to have a reasonable debate. Why?

For Mark and others like him, anybody who questions Israel’s government are “lowlifes” who need to be removed from the movement before they contaminate everybody else. That sounds a lot like the left, doesn’t it?

And who appointed Mark Levin, a guy who’s been on and off the NeverTrump bandwagon for over a decade, the gatekeeper of MAGA? And who gave Randy Fine the all-clear to decide which foreign governments Americans are and aren’t allowed to question?

Also, patriotic Trump supporters can think for themselves, they don’t need Mark Levin or Randy Fine censoring the flow of information.

The absurd response and left-wing tactics from Fine and Levin have created way more suspicion than anything Alex could’ve posted. Instead of calmly explaining why the concerns or accusations are wrong, they demanded his removal, called him names, and threatened consequences for anyone who refuses to fall in line.

This isn’t America First. It’s creating division, sowing discord, and pushing censorship, and it needs to be called out and stopped.
