Sikhs are in the news lately, especially after the horrific murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak, who was stabbed to death by a rather violent and deranged Sikh man. Now, we have another very grisly and disturbing story out of Indiana involving reported “Indian” gangs, who are at war with each other in a heavily Sikh community.

Residents in Greenwood, Indiana, are scared, and they’re asking some really uncomfortable questions after a deadly shooting that police said was a gang-related, ambush-style bloodbath attack that left two men dead and many others wounded.

What’s really scary here is that this isn’t the type of crime you’d expect to see in a quiet suburban community.

But this is now the reality in a small Indiana city.

WTHR:

Two men are facing charges — and are believed to have fled the country — in what police described as a gang-related, ambush-style execution at a Greenwood house party in January.

Prosecutors charged Harmanjit “Harman” Singh and Jagdeep Singh on Feb. 17 with criminal recklessness, a Level 5 felony. The U.S. Marshals Service believes both men are now outside of the United States, according to court documents.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 900 block of Bent Branch Circle, near South Honey Creek Road and County Road 700 North.

Officers arriving at the home found four people shot.
Kuldeep Singh, 37, was found dead on the kitchen floor. Another victim, Virender Singh, 38, was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he later died.

A third man was found lying on the sidewalk of the neighborhood and was taken to Eskenazi Hospital. Police later located a fourth victim, a 23-year-old man, who said he was also shot and was taken to the hospital by a friend.

Evidence, witness interviews reveal deadly argument:

Newly filed court documents described a blood-soaked home where a house party ended in a gunfight.

Detectives recovered 9mm and .45-caliber shell casings and three different brands of ammo, suggesting there were at least two shooters.

Investigators also found blood spattered across the kitchen, walls and front hallway door, along with bullet holes in the walls, refrigerator, shower, ceiling and floor.

There’s an update since that piece was written. One suspect has turned himself in, but another Indian man is still on the run.

The case has also sparked chats about gangs. According to reports, there’s a lot of organized criminal activity connected to portions of the local Indian/Sikh trucking industry in Indiana.

Angela Ganote:

A Greenwood shooting suspect turns himself in in what witnesses say was a planned gang hit.

Harmanjit Singh faces a charge of criminal recklessness in the January 10th shooting on Brent Branch Circle where two men died.

Kuldeep Singh and Virender Singh died and two other men survived the shooting that happened at a birthday party.

According to the probable cause the FBI says Virender Singh was a member of the “Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.” Virender was under federal investigation for extortion and drug trafficking.

There was a fight at the party where police say Virender pulled out a gun, fired shots and multiple others fired back.

A witness told police the argument stemmed from a dispute about a trucking company that Harmanjit and Virender had previously co-owned. The witness said Virender owed Harmanjit money.

Jagdeep Singh is the other wanted shooting suspect who faces a charge of criminal recklessness. Police believe he fled the country because he was here illegally

It turns out there’s actually hundreds of Sikh-owned trucking companies in this particular area. Take a look at this map.

Iodine:

There is a neighborhood subdivision in Greenwood, Indiana called University Park with hundreds (yes, hundreds) of trucking companies owned by Sikh Indians. These Sikhs are now shooting and killing each other in gang related (Lawrence Bishnoi Gang) violence over trucking disputes.

There’s now a lot of chatter online about these Sikh/Indian gangs.

As the post stated above, this particular Indian gang is wreaking havoc in Canada.

Canada Freedom:

The Bishnoi Indian Gang is now threatening police departments across Canada that it has over 1,000 gunmen ready at their disposal. Abbotsford, BC a well known hotspot for these gangs continue with their extortions and cause harm to the community. Do you understand why these people are so dangerous and why we need to stop all immigration from India and start deporting them back?

If this is all true and this is the gang warfare in Indiana, the community has reason to be scared and worried.

You have to wonder what is going on with the Indian/Sikh community. They went from being seemingly calm and fairly ambiguous to a group making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
