President Trump is now taking fire from the crowd that never met a Middle East forever war they didn’t love and want to stretch into the next generation.

And that’s where this Iran situation gets real tricky for a lot of America First voters. Many people on the right were rightfully skeptical of this war from the jump, and for good reason. Nobody voted for another Iraq, and nobody voted for American boots on the ground in another endless Middle East bloodbath. We don’t want to see US troops dragged into a conflict where the goalposts keep dancing around like a conga line and the exit ramp keeps disappearing.
The goal for President Trump was always crippling Iran’s nuclear program. It was never about regime change, even if that’s what the neocons hoped for.
Trump hit Iran hard, made his point, avoided a long, drawn-out war, kept the US economy steady, and took the off-ramp before the neocons could turn this thing into another disaster. That’s a very big difference from what we saw from the old Bush-era nation-building mess.

But speaking of on and off ramps, this is where people like Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro are suddenly changing lanes. Their frustration over Trump’s peace deal is that he didn’t keep going and going and going.

The signing marked a major diplomatic milestone after months of negotiations aimed at ending the conflict between the U.S. and Iran.

Mark Levin, who is infamous for his foam-at-the-mouth rants, is at it again. He’s so desperate to keep this war going and risk tens of thousands of American lives that he’s now demanding Congress, not the president of the United States, should decide when it’s over. JD Vance responded to this dangerous rhetoric when he appeared on Megyn Kelly’s podcast.
HOT DAMMMMM….
Mark Levin is now DEMANDING the decision to end the Iran war be left up to Congress.. not Trump… and JD Vance did not mince words
He says he finds it ironic how Mark Levin and other neocons are very worried about ending the war and put it plainly— they are proposing an endless conflict. They want it to go on until every bomb has been dropped, and every Iranian has been killed — that is NOT what President Trump wants.
“If your only goal is to drop bombs, without any clear goals, without any American interest implicated, you’re not making wise decisions for the American people.”

If someone’s argument is “show me the details and prove this protects American interests,” fine, fair enough. But if the position is basically “keep bombing until Iran is rubble,” then Vance is right to call it what it is… a pro-war scheme for endless conflict.
And of course, right on cue, Israel First warrior Ben Shapiro also went on a rant. Ben’s tantrum shows the same problem but from a different angle. His concern is almost entirely about Israel’s position and whether Israel’s hands are tied.
Keep in mind, when this war first started, these two warmongers were clapping like seals and claiming they were the “voice” of MAGA.
Ben Shapiro throws a fit over Trump’s Iran deal: “Mohammad Ghalibaf will apparently on Friday be literally in a photo-op with the Vice President—I cannot express to you how stomach turning that is!”
“I don’t care who the Vice President is, I don’t care who the President is!!”
“If Israel is not a signatory to the agreement … how in the world could you tie Israel’s hands when it comes to self-defense?!”
“This is not a popular MOU in Israel!”

America can be an ally to Israel without letting Israel’s priorities become America’s marching orders. Trump’s job is to protect the United States, avoid another forever war, and make the best deal he can from the strongest position available.
President Trump clearly knows exactly who’s chirping from the cheap seats, and he’s not having it. In classic Trump form, he pointed to the market, oil prices, and the fact that all the “doomsday predictions” haven’t played out the way many “experts” said they would.

This is where the America First movement has to stay very clear-eyed and not wade into Israel First waters.
You can question the Iran deal and dislike parts of it. People can demand details and accountability, that’s fine. But the answer to every Middle East crisis can’t be more bombs, more troops, more escalation, and more years of American blood and money poured into the sand.
Trump appears to be doing what he said he would do… hit hard, cripple their nuke program, protect America, avoid a messy war, and refuse to let the neocons drive the bus.
That’s why they’re furious.
