The killing of Charlie Kirk was met by an outpouring of cries against political violence, but some of Kirk’s detractors expressed the opposite: satisfaction, relief, cheers. Naples Central School District fired a particularly enthusiastic teacher:

A teacher of the Naples Central School District has been placed on leave following social media posts about the deadly shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk.

Annika Rutz, was fired for a video she’d posted celebrating Kirk’s death, according to the Idaho Dispatch.

The West Ada School District says they have fired a Meridian High School employee after a video she posted celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk.
