Whoa: Trump Just Told Iran Exactly What He'll Blow Up If They Attack Another Ship

President Trump signaled Wednesday morning that any patience he might have left for Iran has pretty much dissipated at this point – and he issued what may be his most lethal threat yet.

In a post on Truth Social, the president told the Islamic Republic in no uncertain terms that if they fire on ships traversing the Strait of Hormuz – "whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon" – the United States will respond in kind by bombing and destroying "ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran."

Here's the president's entire post:
From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP
You could call this "an eye for an eye" diplomacy.

President Trump put the Iranian regime on notice with one of his most harsh warnings to date, saying any attack on ships in the Strait of Hormuz would trigger a direct U.S. military response.
Trump says if Iran uses missiles, drones, rockets, or any other weapons against commercial shipping, the U.S. would bomb and destroy one Iranian bridge or power plant for each attack, including targets in or near Tehran.
Two things are clear from this warning: The president's "thank you for your attention to this matter" sign-off shows this isn't a warning, it's a promise. It's also clear that, by targeting sites in or near Tehran (where Iran's rulers are likely holed up), he wants retaliation for any attacks that may occur in the Strait to be as lethal and personal as possible.
