Elon Has a Big Warning About the Democrat Party and Mamdani - and People Should Listen

They have always had radicals in their party. But once upon a time, they used to exist on the fringes. The party would point at them and laugh — and they generally had no real effect on the party.
But that has changed so much over the years. Now in 2025, it is the moderates who are the fringe of the Democrat Party. Indeed, in thinking about the moderates, there seem to be very few of them. You can maybe point to the few who voted with Republicans against the government shutdown. But it's basically only Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) daring to be vocal about some of the issues. He still votes with them most of the time. But he let Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and the rest of the Democrats have it for playing games with the shutdown.

X owner Elon Musk caught this important moment from New York Gov. Kathy Hochul talking about New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. But it says so much more about the Democrat Party, as Musk declared. This was not praise — this was a warning, "Zohran is the future of the Democratic Party."

"With your help, we will elect Zohran and we will take back America," she exclaimed, in front of signs saying "universal healthcare," "freeze rents," and another sign about free buses.
There it is, right there. It isn't just about New York City. Mamdani has been endorsed by the head of the DNC, Ken Martin, and the House Minority Leader, Democrat Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8). They have elevated the "fringe" to the mainstream. This is how they think they will grab back power from the Republicans. I often have said "far left," making a distinction from Democrats in the center. But now, how can you say they are any different at all when they are embracing Mamdani? This is abusing the concept of a "big tent" — there are radicals you should not be embracing, because if you do embrace them, it says something about you.
Mamdani said he would raise taxes to pay for his plans. Meanwhile, Hochul has expressed reluctance about raising taxes. So already it's clear there is a cognitive dissonance between the plans and what could likely be achieved. Never mind that the ideas/plans are flawed leftist pap, to begin with. But he'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge to get elected, and she'll help him in order to get Democrats into power. And what's going to happen in New York is that people are going to flee for other places so they don't have to deal with the mess that will be coming. People are shouting out a warning, but it doesn't feel like the folks in New York City are getting it.

But the problem isn't just New York City and Mamdani — they want to bring this everywhere and "take back America." That should, rightly, scare everyone. The Democrat Party is fully in the grip of the leftist thrall now.
Radical leftism has failed every place it's been tried. Unfortunately, millions have died and been harmed in the process. If this is included in your "big tent," your tent will fall. And if that "tent" is in charge in this country, we are all in for a world of trouble.
I think the saving grace here is that the American people are much more centrist. Indeed, we've seen many people moving more toward the right because of this insanity from the left. There have been more than a million new Republican registrations since the 2024 election. And that election showed a shift to the right in more than 80 percent of U.S. counties.
What this may ultimately mean is that the Democrats keep going further left, right off the cliff, as the American voters reject them.
It reminds me of "Animal Farm" and the scene at the end: "The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."
They are all far left, now.
