New: Anti-ICE Agitators Find Out It's Not a Good Idea to Shake the Gates at Newark Facility

redstate.com

We reported about the riot/uprising by some of the detainees at the Delaney Hall ICE facility in Newark on Thursday. Four people managed to go missing and/or escape in the chaos when the detainees pushed over a wall, and others tied bedsheets together to help them flee.

Then there was wild action with the anti-ICE crew outside the facility as they blocked vehicles and verbally assailed the federal agents, saying they were "piggies" and calling for "revolution" --while wearing their keffiyehs.

They were out again on Friday, trying to block vehicles. The federal agents weren't playing and appeared to be losing patience with these characters.

Warning for graphic language in the following videos:

The agents warned the anti-ICE people that if they pushed the barricade at them, they would be arrested.

But they linked arms and were still trying to block things. They found out that wasn't a good idea as law enforcement officers started pushing them out of the way, to clear the road for vehicles. They, of course, yelled their heads off about that.

But then in the next video, the agents let it out, when the mob outside began shaking the gates. They opened the gates and rushed them, one reportedly had a taser, although it wasn't clear if it was used. The anti-ICE mob was not a group of happy campers after that.

They were so mad; one of them yelled, "Kill yourself," at the agents. Then there was another engagement where some of these characters were shoved, causing them to fall on the ground. It looked like the agents were trying to grab at least one of them.

It's not clear how the exchange ended, and we may have to update you on Saturday. But if you obstruct an ICE agent or shove a police officer, you certainly can be arrested. You get bad behavior like this when the Democrats act like this is acceptable behavior and demonize law enforcement. Someone needs to get more agents in there and take action to protect the facility and operations.

If anyone obstructs ICE or shoves law enforcement, that isn't a peaceful protest.

But we're likely to see more "find out" situations over the weekend--with the "No Kings" protest on Saturday--so we'll keep you updated on that as well.
