Kristi Noem Announces Insanely 'Successful' Response DHS Has Received During ICE Recruitment

Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced the agency has received more than 80,000 applications for openings with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), after DHS announced a recruiting drive with a sweet incentive deal.

During her appearance on Wednesday on Fox News' "Fox and Friends," Noem said that their "recruitment efforts to hire 10,000 new ICE officers has been extremely successful."

"As of today, we have over 80,000 applicants for those 10,000 positions already," she added. "People and patriots across this country that say 'we want to join. We want to help and be a part of this effort.'"
"It's overwhelming to see the amount of response and support that our ICE officers have gotten and the people who want to join their ranks," Noem continued. "I would tell everybody go to Join.Ice.gov. And go there and sign up. Be a part of this team that is helping make America safe again with President Trump."
At one point, the DHS Secretary also shared that as an added incentive, they have removed the "age cap for ICE law enforcement." So, if someone is qualified, they can now apply with no age limit.

In a terrific old-school-looking post on X by the DHS, it shared the same news that there's now "No age Cap."

Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill, we now have funding to recruit and hire Americans who want to patriotically serve their country and protect American communities. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem's leadership, ICE is finally empowered to do their jobs again.
Join ICE today and help us defend the Homeland."

With the number of applications DHS has received, I couldn't help but think of another recent RedState report that blew apart the narrative we have heard from the left for years, that Americans are lazy and don't want to work.

SEE: Major ICE Raid at an Omaha Meatpacking Plant Reveals an Unfortunate Truth
My RedState colleague Streiff reported about a recent illegal immigration raid at a meatpacking plant in Omaha, Nebraska, where the company was inundated with applications from people in town who wanted the jobs left by illegals.
He wrote that after the ICE raid, something extraordinary happened:
Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applications early Thursday afternoon, two days after the meatpacking plant became the center of the largest worksite immigration raid in the state of Nebraska so far this year.
Dozens of prospective employees, many of them Spanish speakers, had been coming in and out of the plant all day. Some were hoping to land a new job; others were coming in for training.
I guess Americans really do want to work, and take care of themselves and their families.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
