Update: Iranian Missiles Cause 'Significant Damage' to Israeli 'Pentagon,' 1 Dead; Report on US' Help

The counter-attacks by Iran against Israel after the latter's preemptive attack, as RedState reported earlier on Friday, appeared to breach the nation's Iron Dome anti-missile system, with reports and video flooding in of major damage to buildings in Tel Aviv. It was unknown at the time whether there were any casualties as a result of the attacks.

Now, updates are arriving, thanks to the yeoman's work of Fox News' chief foreign correspondent, Trey Yingst, who has been filing written and video stories throughout the day, and into the night local time.
Here's one photo that exemplifies the adage, "A picture is worth a thousand words," capturing the devastation and piles of rubble on the ground:
We’re in rolling live coverage, so I’ll post more when I can. But there is a massive amount of damage in the suburbs of Tel Aviv on a few blocks. They are still digging through the rubble, looking for survivors. pic.twitter.com/3i5GqQMN9D

In a live report for "Special Report," he told host Bret Baier that a "ballistic missile impact" happened in a suburban area of Tel Aviv, adding that police told him a "woman was killed, and 20 others [were] wounded" there.
We watched as rescue crews dug through the rubble outside of Tel Aviv. One woman was killed on this block and at least 20 others were wounded, according to police. Our coverage continues. pic.twitter.com/gI92fOmqyt

Yingst described the activity by first responders around him--digging through the debris in hopes of finding survivors trapped within. He also said the Iranian attacks came in two waves, during which they could see the "advanced missile system" attempt to intercept Iran's "fire." He said it lit up the night sky. He also stated the entire block where he was standing had been destroyed.
Fox News reported that among the buildings in Tel Aviv suffering major damage in a "direct hit" was what Yingst described as the Israeli version of the Pentagon:
Iranian ballistic missiles struck Israel’s military headquarters, known as the Kiryat, the country’s version of the Pentagon, in a direct hit during a major escalation in the conflict between Iran and Israel.
“This is Israel's version of the Pentagon, the Kiryat. And the building on this compound was just hit,” reported Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst, live from Tel Aviv.
“Around 150 Iranian ballistic missiles targeting this country throughout the evening,” Yingst said. “They are targeting not only residential areas, they are targeting military installations.”
“There is significant damage," he continued, saying that "[a]n entire block [was] nearly completely destroyed, wiped off the map. Rescue crews were digging through the rubble… trying to pick up heat signatures of possible bodies.”

Yingst and his crew were forced to shelter underground as missile sirens sounded. “We had to run to an apartment building… One of [the explosions] was so loud it shook the building we were in.”
In the newest update, as Yingst was traveling in a vehicle to another impact site, he said that an Israeli intelligence source confirmed to him that while many of Iran's missiles were thwarted by Iron Dome, David's Sling, and the Arrow 2 and 3 systems, the American military also aided the Israelis in the effort to "shoot down" the attack.
