Dutch patriot Geert Wilders erupted in Parliament this week, delivering a brutal takedown of far-left MP Frans Timmermans after he accused Israel of “war crimes” and “ethnic cleansing.” What began as a debate about the collapse of the Dutch cabinet quickly turned into a brutal confrontation over Israel, antisemitism, and the future of Western civilization.
After Timmermans accused Israel of committing “war crimes,” “ethnic cleansing,” and “genocidal violence,” Wilders fired back, “It’s not a disgrace—you’re a disgrace, for making almost anti-Semitic statements about a country that fights for its existence.”
Wilders, one of the fiercest defenders of Israel in Europe, refused to let Timmermans’ smear campaign go unanswered. He reminded Parliament and the world that Israel is not waging war for territory or politics, but fighting to survive:
“This is about the existence of the Jewish State of Israel.”
“Terrorists in Gaza want to wipe Israel off the map—and of course Israel must defend itself. I mourn every innocent life lost, but I will never apologize for standing with a country fighting for its survival.”
When Timmermans demanded Wilders retract his statements and accused him of violating “Dutch values,” Wilders didn’t flinch. He made it clear what is truly at stake:

Wilders Destroys Smear Campaign Over Budapest Conference
Wilders also dismantled the smear campaign surrounding a conservative conference he attended in Budapest, where he shared the stage with Israeli officials. Timmermans accused the event of platforming “fascists,” but Wilders fired back with facts:
“Who are you to tell me with whom I may speak? Those Israelis would never stand with fascists. You’re out of your mind to suggest it.”
He then exposed a dishonest social media campaign by left-wing MEP Kati Piri, who had posted a collage of conference attendees meant to discredit Wilders:

Unable to refute Wilders, Timmermans reverted to moral preening, claiming to “have a warm place in his heart for Israel” while simultaneously accusing its government of “war crimes” and “genocidal violence.” He insisted that he “is not an antiSemite” and demanded a retraction.
But Wilders didn’t back down. “Your aversion to Israel and to democracy grows by the day. And now you accuse Israeli officials of standing with fascists? It’s a disgusting lie.”
He reminded Parliament that the Israeli government would never share a stage with fascists, and that the accusation alone was an insult to every Israeli fighting for freedom.
