The Radical Left Broke the Judiciary

When a man traveled across the country with the intent to assassinate Associate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, most Americans expected a heavy sentence. After all, an attack on a Supreme Court Justice isn’t just an assault on one person—it’s an assault on the entire judicial system.

Yet Federal District Judge Deborah Boardman—a Biden appointee—handed down just eight years behind bars, despite the Department of Justice recommending a 30-year sentence. Her reasoning, delivered in a rambling courtroom soliloquy, defied belief. After pleading guilty last April, Kavanaugh’s would-be assassin, Nicholas John Roske, suddenly decided to “identify” as a woman and now goes by “Sophie”—and Judge Boardman practically swooned. She repeatedly used female pronouns, lavished sympathy on Roske’s “journey,” and even said, “I am heartened that this terrible infraction has helped the Roske family… accept their daughter [sic] for who she [sic] is.” Yes, you read that correctly—the judge was heartened by an assassination attempt because it supposedly brought a family closer together.
