Man, 46, fatally stabbed in fight with NYC thugs

A 46-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a dispute with a group of thugs in The Bronx on Sunday.

Police said the unidentified victim was on East 183rd Street and the Grand Concourse around 6:50 a.m. when he got into a beef with several people.

The dispute turned violent, and the victim was stabbed repeatedly before his attackers sped off in vehicles, according to police.

The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital in The Bronx, where he was pronounced dead.

He was not publicly identified pending family notification, police said.

Cops did not say what prompted the encounter nor how many individuals attacked the man.

According to police crime stats, the stabbing is the eighth murder in the confines of the 46th Precinct this year, up from three over the same span last year.

Through July 5, the borough had seen a total of 46 murders so far compared to 52 for the same time period in 2025, not counting Sunday’s fatal stabbing.

Overall, major crimes in The Bronx have dropped this year, part of a historic citywide decrease in crime.
