Authorities scramble to locate 3-month-old allegedly taken by mother, Amber Alert issued

An AMBER alert has been issued after a 3-month-old baby boy was abducted in Northern California Sunday.

The child, Maxence Sirois, was last seen 1 p.m. on Sunday and is believed to be in the custody of his mother, 42-year-old Marina Kazakova. Kazakova is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and 128 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees them are urged to call 911 immediately. Hayward Police Department

She allegedly did not return Sirois to his mother on June 30 as required by a court-ordered custody agreement.

Her vehicle, a 2016 white Mazda CX-5 with the license plate No. 7SJW989, was last seen in Kern County. CHP told KCRA that Sirois and Kazakova could be in Alameda, San Joaquin, Kern or Los Angeles counties.

Anyone who sees them are urged to call 911 immediately.
