Mayor Zohran Mamdani crony and far-left congressional candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier has claimed the US has committed worse atrocities than the terror group Hamas.

Chevalier made the shocking assertion in June 2021 — two years before the terrorists would launch their widespread Oct. 7 slaughter of innocent Israelis — while responding to a Twitter post from someone saying, “I agree the US wanton violence is categorically incomparable to the worst things Hamas has ever done or ever could do.”

Chevalier wrote, “Only one is a nuclear power that’s ever used that kind of force 😶” — likely referring to the US nuclear bombs dropped on Japan during World War II.

Two minutes later, she followed up with, “Not to mention the countless other forms of colonial violence that it’s enacted but you know 🙃.”

Hamas has been deemed a terror organization by dozens of countries for years, using suicide bombings and other deadly terrorist acts while denying Israel’s right to exist, according to the Council on Foriegn Relations.

Chevalier, who also is backed by the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, is running as the insurgent trying to topple veteran incumbent Dem Rep. Adriano Espaillat in the upcoming primary for the District 13 seat covering northern Manhattan and parts of the western Bronx.

She has come under fire for other inflammatory social-media comments, too.

On Oct. 8, 2023 — just one day after Hamas’s massacre of Israeli civilians — Chevalier appeared at a notorious Times Square rally where demonstrators celebrated the terrorists’ atrocities and where swastikas appeared.

The event was so extreme that even fellow lefty DSA Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she was “appalled and horrified” by the hate fest.

Chevalier also tweeted a photo of a biracial couple in 2019 while blasting black and Arab men for “fetishizing ugly colonizer women.”

In addition, the pol peddled a crackpot COVID-19 theory claiming the deadly virus originated in France — and quoted a Chinese Communist propaganda mouthpiece as evidence.

There is wide consensus that the virus originated in Wuhan, China — either from a food market or a lab.

In addition, the wannabe rep referred to former President Joe Biden as a “rapist” and said, “F–k Kamala Harris”, the former vice president and 2026 Democratic presidential candidate.

Biden has vehemently denied allegations from a former Senate aide that he sexually assaulted her in 1993 and has never been charged.

Espaillat, 71, has produced an attack ad slamming her tweets and saying the 32-year-old challenger is not ready for prime time.

Chevalier and her campaign had no immediate comment.
