White House chief of staff Susie Wiles slams Vanity Fair for 'hit piece'

By Kathleen Joyce

White House chief of staff Susie Wiles slammed the interview she did with Vanity Fair.

The interview, published Tuesday, covered a slew of topics including Vice President JD Vance being a conspiracy theorist, Attorney General Pam Bondi's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and Elon Musk.

Wiles called the interview a “disingenuously framed hit piece” on her and the Trump administration. She said the piece lacked "significant context."

“Significant context was disregarded and much of what I, and others, said about the team and the President was left out of the story. I assume, after reading it, that this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the President and our team,” she wrote on X.

“The truth is the Trump White House has already accomplished more in eleven months than any other President has accomplished in eight years and that is due to the unmatched leadership and vision of President Trump, for whom I have been honored to work for the better part of a decade,” she continued.

She told Vanity Fair that Bondi "completely whiffed" the Epstein files case and claimed Vance "has been a conspiracy theorist for a decade."

She also called Musk an "odd, odd duck, as I think geniuses are." She also said the billionaire is an "avowed ketamine" user.
