Woman sets herself on fire outside 7-Eleven

First responders rushed a young woman to the hospital after she set herself on fire outside of a 7-Eleven store.

The 30-year-old was in critical condition after going up in flames outside the store in Sun Valley, California, Tuesday morning. It is not yet known what she used to start or possibly accelerate the blaze.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 9:50 a.m. near a 7-eleven on Vineland Avenue and Saticoy Street, where a crowd had gathered to document the scene on social media.

The unidentified woman sustained critical burns and was rushed to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center by first responders.
