Brian Laundrie’s parents have ripped a new documentary about their son’s murder of girlfriend Gabby Petitio as being one-sided and riddled with inaccuracies — despite refusing to give their side of the story.

The Netflix docuseries — “American Murder: Gabby Petito” — spotlights, in part, accusations that the killer’s parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, stonewalled investigators when their son’s girlfriend first vanished on a cross-country road trip back in 2021.

“The documentary was what we expected,” Laundrie family attorney, Steven Bertolino, said in a statement obtained by NBC’s “Today.”

“One perspective depicted as the ‘truth’ as seen through their lens. Similar to Republicans and Democrats fighting it out lately. Each side believes their perspective is correct. Hard to see through the lens of the other with all the noise and distrust,” the attorney claimed.

“The documentary contained many inaccuracies, incorrect juxtapositions of timelines, and misstatements and omissions of fact — perhaps deliberate to capture their ‘truth’, perhaps due to simple error,” he continued.

Despite the complaints, Bertolino said their was no denying the key fact of the painful case.

“We all know Brian took Gabby’s life and Brian then took his own as well,” the attorney said. “Let the parents of both Gabby and Brian mourn and remember them in peace.”

The three-part series, which first aired on Monday last week, tracks Petitio’s infamous disappearance and death through interviews with her family and friends, as well as texts, video footage and excerpts from her journals.

Filmmakers said they’d reached out to the Laundrie — but they didn’t want any part it in.

“They didn’t want to participate, and we respect that,” Julia Willoughby Nason, one of the directors, has said. “This is a very difficult story.”

The case was thrust into the national spotlight in the summer of 2021 when Petito vanished while traveling with Laundrie across the western United States in a white van, documenting their adventures on YouTube.

Laundrie quietly returned to his parents’ home in Florida on Sept. 1 — without his girlfriend. Petito’s family reported her missing 10 days later when they failed to get any information from the Laundrie family about her whereabouts.

Petito’s body was eventually discovered in Grand Teton National Park on Sept. 19 after being strangled and dumped there by her boyfriend.

After a warrant was issued for Laundrie’s arrest, bodycam footage released by cops showed his parents refusing to cooperate with investigators or give any information about their son’s whereabouts.

A month later, Laundrie’s remains were discovered in a Florida nature park after he killed himself and left behind a confession over his girlfriend’s slaying.
